From implementers and developers to data analysts and support specialists, this team collaborates with many others to create solutions, processes and applications that impact team members, residents, guests, and clients.The IT team at LC is searching for a skilled team member to support our companys purpose to bring people together to connect through thoughtful integration of technology and customer experience. In this role, youll investigate and resolve software and hardware problems of computer users; develop, write, and edit computer-related technical and administrative documentation; and develops and conducts programs to train employees or customers in Information Technology topics.Make an impact through these primary responsibilities:* Interviews user(s) to gather information about problems to determine the source of errors, handles problem recognition, resolution, and follow up for routine user problems.* Logs and tracks calls using problem management database, and maintains history records of related problems and documentation.* Consults with technical staff to explain software errors or to recommend changes to programs.* Evaluates vendor-supplied software by studying user objectives; testing software compatibility with existing hardware and programs* Writes or revises user training manuals and procedures.* Develops training materials and trains users on software and hardware on-site or in classroom, or recommends outside contractors to provide training.* Prepares, evaluates, and edits documentation to support end users and creates standard guidelines for end users.* Remains current on developments in training and instructional methods including technology enhancements and attends periodic seminars, etc. to ensure currency of knowledge.Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.* Previous professional work experience with a background in customer service, help desk support, end-user computer support, and/or training is necessary.* The ability to collaborate and work collectively as a member of a team.Lifestyle Communities (LC) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
