for an individual with 10+ years’ experience as a
Purchasing Director
with a background in
the Commercial Construction industry . This position would earn a
generous six-figure base salary
and a
loaded benefits package

Some key responsibilities include:
Negotiate/evaluate vendor/supplier relationships to optimize terms and costs.
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power.
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking to assess/mitigate potential supplier and vendor risk.
Manage 5-10 direct reports across departments.
Evaluate procedures and systems including auditing compliance and developing KPI metrics/tracking, and reporting.

MUST
have the following experiences to qualify for consideration:

10+ years of Construction related Purchasing experience in a Department Managing/Director level .
Experience managing the supply chain/purchasing activities for multiple projects/locations/divisions in the US is a
MUST .
Previous experience developing, implementing, monitoring, and auditing supply chain strategies that optimize the efficiency of supply operations is a
MUST .
Experience evaluating procedures and systems including auditing compliance and developing KPI metrics/tracking, and reporting is a
MUST .
Forecasting pricing and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power is a
MUST .
Experience managing 5-10 direct reports consisting of support staff: Buyers, Purchasing Coordinators, etc. is a
MUST .
Experience with
MS Excel
including V-Lookup and PIVOT tables is a
MUST .
Viewpoint
or related software is a PLUS.
Bachelor’s Degree
is
a MUST .
