Job Responsibilities:

Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant Engineering matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.

Designs and develops a consolidated, conformed enterprise data warehouse and data lake which store all critical data across Customer, Provider, Claims, Client and Benefits data.

Manages processes that are highly complex and impact the greater organization.

Designs, develops and implements methods, processes, tools and analyses to sift through large amounts of data stored in a data warehouse or data mart to find relationships and patterns.

May lead or manage sizable projects.

Participates in the delivery of the definitive enterprise information environment that enables strategic decision-making capabilities across enterprise via an analytics and reporting.

Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.

Recognized internally as “the go-to person” for the most complex Information Management assignments.

Candidate will be designing and implementing solutions for an important company product called DUR (Drug Utilization Review) as well as creating detailed specifications for other developers.

Ensure quality of deliverables by participating in peer group conducting application design and code reviews.

Will be involved in all phases of Agile SDLC.

Will partner with Technical Product Owners to analyze business ask and code to determine best solutions for product.

Become Subject Matter Expert.

Will participate in development of team’s SOPs and guidelines as well as partner with Scrum Master and team lead to identify and implement process improvements.

Participate in analysis and resolution of critical production issues.

Work on special projects as assigned.

Help eliminate Tech Debt thru innovative solutions.

Skills and Experience Required:

Required:

Candidate must have at least 10 years of experience and possess strong knowledge of Cobol, CICS, VSAM, DB2, JCL and Batch.

Knowledge of XML is required.

Experience with Visio is a must.

Candidate must be capable of putting together solutions for complex problems.

Strong design skills required.

Candidate must be capable of creating solutions that integrate multiple technologies.

Candidate must have strong communication skills.

Must be capable of working independently.

Candidate must be capable of mentoring more junior developers.

Desired:

PBM, Pharmacy or Medical Insurance Experience.

Medical Insurance.

Strong Communications Skills.

Knowledge of JSON and Cloud technologies are a plus.
