Job Description

We are seeking 3 IT Business Analysts for a 2 year contract in Denver, CO.

These roles have the option to work remotely for residents of Colorado or for those who wish to relocate to Colorado for this role.

These roles will be assisting in updating, modernizing, and decommissioning aging technology systems that are costly for the environments and organization to maintain.

In these roles, you will:Translate high-level business requirements into functional and non-functional specifications and manage changes to the specifications in the documentationAnalyze and document required data and system informationCreate development ready work items (user stories)Create traceability of work items back to project road mapUntangle dependencies in order to place items properly on the backlogCreate application class diagrams and process/workflow diagramsIdentify process issuesDocument risk and relationshipsAnalyze and document other required data and information by partnering with data analystsReverse engineer application code to document (interfaces, functionality, etc)Perform Analysis of various Windows Servers, DB Servers, FTP Servers etc and overall ArchitectureAnalysis of Current State Vs Future State technical architecture and produce deliverables in diagramsIdentify various Dependencies and documenting thosePerform Security AnalysisActing as liaison between business stakeholders, such as executive teams, users, and the software development or infrastructure teams.Analyzing and communicating stakeholder needs by translating business requirements into software requirements.Documenting and evaluating required data and information.Using modeling, testing and data models to improve the flow of information through an organization to enhance project success.Perform analysis of legacy and modernization systems and processes, then provide analysis of impacts and risksAdvise on the best way to transform and integrate required data into modified source database structures required to support a modernized applicationAnalyze and identify risks associated with bug workarounds that impact the application and database by partnering with data analystContribute toward root cause analysis of application and data related defectsResponsible for identifying and testing bridges between legacy and modernized application elements/structures.Support integrated testing of interfaces and validation of application mapping as well as activities conducted during pre go-live and post go-live activitiesQualifications

IT Business Analyst experienceGathering requirements and documentation2+ years of IT Project Management experience can substitue the Business Analyst experience

This 2 year contract will be based out of Denver, CO with the ability to work remotely for residents of Colorado or for those who wish to relocate to Colorado for this role.
