Our client is looking for a
Senior Network Engineer
with experience in engineering MPLS and BGP to design complex enterprise networks within their contract. These systems provide reliable data transfers between domains for general users and programs.
What You'll Get to Do:The specific responsibilities of this role include:Designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise networksTroubleshooting and resolving network issuesManaging and mentoring junior network engineering staffKeeping up with the latest networking technologies and best practices.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in networking5+ years of engineering MPLS and BGPRequired engineering experience with the following: OSPF, BGP, MPLS, MPLS, GRE, IPSECDesign, implement, and maintain complex, global enterprise networks.Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.Manage and mentor junior network engineering staff.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
The desired skills for this role include a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and security.Knowledge of hybrid multi-cloud, automation, scripting, and system engineering processes is desirable.Desired engineering experience with the following: VXLAN, EVPN, CSfC, & SD-WAN, DevOps, and Agile methodologiesExperience with popular networking equipment and vendors, such as Juniper and CiscoExperience integrating cloud networking platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCPExperience with network automation and monitoring systems, such as Ansible, Python, rGPC and RiverbedExperience with hybrid multi-cloud, scripting, and system engineering processesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills; and strong communication and teamwork skills.
