OverviewAmyx is seeking to hire a Risk Lead to support our Department of Homeland Security, CISA contract in the Washington DC area.
Responsibilities
recommend a requirements management process to include comprehensive workflows, quality control and quality assurance plans.
create customized and intuitive user interfaces and dashboards using DHS-approved technologies on the Technology Reference Model (TRM) that maximize data accessibility, consistency, integrity, accuracy, and integration and enhance NRMC's ability to make data-driven decisions.
be responsible for technical data collection, processing and maintenance, data management, data services, extract/transform/load, and archival, recovery, and implementation of data.
apply computer code and leverage the use of other analytic tools to prototype or automate common analytic processes in language that include but not limited to Python, Java, and R, and Data manipulation.
work at the unclassified to the Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) level
create and maintain a Data Dictionary Template that improves the creation, curation, disseminating, and standardization of data within the organization.
create and maintain a Step-by-Step Data Intake Guide that improves and enhances the creation, curation, disseminating, and standardization of data within the organization.
create and maintain Data Dissemination Reference Sheet Guidance that describes processes for capturing data in the NRMC Data Catalogue; data identification and management; data cleaning; identifying data gaps; creating and
maintaining data architecture; optimizing data models; and validating/testing data for quality control.
identify opportunities and develop strategies to support data management through integrating data-related capabilities into the organization’s ongoing efforts.
develop processes and methodologies for data ingestion, data discovery, and data storage to enhance and support the CISA and NRMC’s data posture and defined Data Strategy.
Manage Data Related activities across our Data Services Task Areas

Qualifications
Required:
Current DHS Suitability Clearance, Ability to gain/mainain TS Clearance
at least ten (10) years of experience supporting the enhancement of the organization’s analytic capability as it addresses systemic enterprise data challenges (e.g., data gaps, data access, data visibility, data interoperability, data architecture and integration, data management, data governance, and data lifecycle).
a working knowledge and understanding of the following concepts: Data Management, Enterprise Data Management (EDM), Data Science, Data Strategy, Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Cleaning, Data Validation; apply and demonstrate proficiency in Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) Processing, Data Collection, and Requirement Gathering; and will demonstrate proficiency in analytics software (e.g., Business Intelligence, Tableau, Esri, Microsoft Power BI).
