Job Summary:Maximus is looking for a dynamic, customer-service oriented, well-organized self-starter to manage, integrate, and support Corporate Systems/Back Office applications. Under general direction, the IT Principal Architect – Corporate Systems position will be responsible for translating business needs into technical systems solutions and recommends solutions, platforms and tools that will evolve the organization’s corporate processes based on DevSecOps. This position will also troubleshoot technical and functional challenges related to Costpoint/Time&Expense/Cognos and integrate these with SaaS platforms (such as Coupa, Workday, and Salesforce).
The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with a strong desire to step in to support wherever they may be needed.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:• Actively participate in solution design with corporate system engineers and architects• Manage the development, testing, deployment, operational monitoring, maintenance, upgrade, and support of corporate systems• Provide support to the corporate applications, in particular to Costpoint, T&E, Cognos, TM1 and other SaaS platforms (i.e. Coupa, Salesforce) and respond to IT tickets• Gather and document integration requirements and specifications and recommend best approach for systems design, integration, and applications management• Coordinate relationships and support with third-party vendors• Analyze existing operations and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of all• Conduct research and remain current with the latest technologies and solutions in support of the corporate systems• Responsible for developing, distributing, supporting, enforcing, and integrating best practices and technology standards• Troubleshoot and correct system problems, as needed• Perform other duties as may be assigned by management
Education & Experience Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field• 10+ years of experience in back office, Costpoint, T&E, Cognos, Coupa, TM1, CRM, Salesforce systems design, implementation, and management• 2+ years of experience Kettle/Pentaho Data Integration (or similar tool)• Experience with web services (SOAP, REST), APIs, XML, and web scripting languages• Excellent written and verbal communication skills across both business and technical audiences• Exceptional time management and organizational skills• Attention to detail and accuracy• Ability to self-manage and motivate, to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects at the same time, using sound judgment• Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, business analysis, and complex problem-solving skills• Willingness to collaborate across functional teams, in particular with staff in other IT teams to coordinate relevant activities
Preferred Skills/Experience:• High aptitude for understanding and support business processes involving accounting and finance is essential• Possess above average troubleshooting, customer relations, communication, team building, and leadership skills• 5+ years of experience in PL/SQ• Experience working with Amazon Cloud technologies• Strong customer service orientation; obsessed with the customer experience
