Job Description: Desktop Engineer Staff Aug To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. Develop and maintain working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager to provide engineering and technical support focused on End User Computing. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain advanced functional knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts, and trends.

Basic Responsibilities

pply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems Present clear, organized, and concise information to all audiences to enable effective business decisions Work on projects and ad hoc tasks of varied scope Document new system components, or modifications to existing components Participate in On-call rotation dhere to internal process and detailed procedures to support engineering functions Tier III support for end user computing utilizing ServiceNow Perform other duties as assigned Ensure the security and integrity of system and product solutions including compliance with Client, industry engineering and Information Security principles and practices Full life-cycle project management Establish and lead project teams Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality Risk, Issue and Change management Ensure successful project implementation Scope of responsibility

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in CyberSecurity, Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience Strong understanding of MECM functions Strong PowerShell Scripting skills to resolve specific desktop problems Strong desktop engineering, administration and troubleshooting skills Willingness to learn new system functions and concepts related to desktop engineering Effective communication and documentation skills to write technical and end-user documentation Effective organizational, planning and time management skills Effective research, analytical, and problem solving skills Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions Effective ability to exercise initiative, produce desired results, and achieve objectives Effective organizational, planning and time management skills Effective skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions Capable of working on multiple projects and adapting to frequent changing requirements, priorities, and procedures Working knowledge of engineering discipline dvanced research, analytical, and problem-solving skills dvanced verbal and written communication skills dvanced word processing and spreadsheet software skills Specific Desires

Experience with MECM, Powershell, GitHub, Change Management ITIL best practices, Service Now Experience working in environments focused on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls and is able to assist in defining standards and policies Experience working with DLP team members to influence/define product strategy and roadmaps to focus on quality and continuous delivery Integrates Agile principles into team practices and work products using Objectives and Key Results (OKR). Demonstrated track record of engaging in technical design of solutions based on use cases and business requirements Stays abreast of emerging technologies and threats to proactively assess and evaluate the adoption thereof into the organization Good understanding and exposure to Cloud standards, architecture, and models Experience with Splunk and/or UberAgent Experience with NIST Risk Management Framework Experience with network security concepts and principles Experience with Server and Endpoint operating system security CISSP, CCNP Security certification a plus Experience in multiple platforms Citrix, Windows, & MAC Experience with Defender for Endpoint and Microsoft Defender Exploit Guard Experience with Desktop as a Service (DaaS) in relation to Azure Virtual Desktop
