Summary:
The Technical Support Specialist role is an entry- level position responsible for maintaining high quality IT services and helpdesk support for our clients. The Technical Support Specialist embodies Magnitech's pillars in their everyday work and is able to adapt to our rapidly changing environment. The Technical Support Specialist is passionate about technology and an expert at providing outstanding service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems for end users pertaining to the following:Client workstations o Microsoft 365 ( Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint, OneDrive)Vendor management for client internet service providersOnboarding & Off boarding usersClient installs (VPN, MS Office, Local Point)Mobile phonesMonitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the helpdeskService clients onsite and virtuallyWork on projects as assignedPrioritize and determine severity of end-user issuesAccurately document all necessary information in ConnectWise ticketing systemDocument internal proceduresFollow Magnitech's escalation proceduresIdentify parts inside of a computer and prep computers for deploymentUtilize company resources and independent research to troubleshoot end user issuesSkills & Knowledge:
Understand Active Directory, Microsoft Domains, WiFi, MS Office, Network Printing, tablets, laptops, and desktopsPerceived capacity to exude technical credibility and professional integrityPositive attitudeAbility to self-start, work independently and achieve high standards to meet multiple deadlinesWork effectively with staff in a team-oriented environmentExhibit a high degree of professionalismVets2PM Provides:
Mentorship and guidance via weekly SkillBridge Intern Zoom Meetings.PM Fundamentals course, Resume writing, LinkedIn optimization, and interview skills course.Other free resources, including an electronic copy of 'How to Speak Civilian Fluently'.

Not all internships include certification training by Vets2PM, as many host companies include their own internship-focused training instead. If selected for an internship with Vets2PM please read your approval email, letter, and training plan to be sure you understand what is included in your internship
