Spry Squared is looking for a strong Applications Support Analyst based in Denver, Colorado for our client who, under general direction is responsible for installing, configuring and maintaining software applications, interfaces and custom solutions. This position leverages vendors and internal resources to fully support standard applications and custom integrations.
Responsibilities
System Management and Support of Critical Upstream ApplicationsPrimarily provide Tier-2 support to the Help Desk on software issues and ensure tickets are resolved within appropriate timeframeHelp with Tier 1 Help Desk support, as neededDevelop disparate system application interface scopes and objectivesConduct or facilitate comprehensive solution/application upgrades, including:
Project planningTimelinesTest planningUser acceptance test managementCutover implementation
Provide oversite and updating of IT and Support Processes and Install DocumentationWork with IT team members to solve complex problemsWork with IT team members to develop new support processesWork with IT team members to improve support processesHelp manage and distribute workloadHelp manage third-party vendors (contractors) used for:
System SupportInterface DevelopmentCustom Coding
Monitor and resolve application issues in multiple environmentsCreate, update, and maintain both IT-specific and end-user documentationMaintain respectful and productive working relationships within and across all work groups, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperationCreate a work environment that is consistent with the companys Purpose, Vision & Core ValuesWork on-call as needed to support users and the IT teamPerform other duties and projects as assigned to support the success of the department and companyQualifications
Required qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience5+ years experience delivering solutions for enterprise applications as an Applications Support Analyst.Profieciency with Office 365 applicationsAction-orientedand eager to embrace new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense ofurgency, high energy, and enthusiasmCapableof building strong end-user relationships and delivering customer-centricsolutions.Excellentsupport ticket documentation, updating of knowledge base, and a strongadherence to ITSM standardsAbility to work in complex, multi-system environmentsExcels at problem solving (can chase down issues)An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understandingPreferred qualifications
3+ years Midstream Oil & Gas industry experienceStrong experience working with Quorum software including TIPS, QCM, QDOD, ESUITE, QJIB and QQMExperience with Peloton Platform software including ProdView, WellView, RigView, LandView, SiteView
