Description

The Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation, Management Services Division, Enterprise Asset Management Team, is currently seeking seasonal/intermittent Data Entry Support Staff - Tier II to perform related data entry, clerical and/or technical work, for our Bi-County Enterprise Asset Management System. They must show comfort in using technology with effective task-management skills and can work efficiently either as an individual or with a team. Tier II candidate will also be tasked with monthly or specific interval projects that they will be solely responsible for running and reporting to upper level management. On the job training is provided.

The position pays a rate of

$16.00/hour .

Schedule of 32 hours per week, 6-8 hours per day between the hours of 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, possess good communication skills, and detail oriented. The candidate will be responsible for providing support to internal customers/users and uploading/updating data into the EAM system. In addition, the candidate will assist with processes for Prince George's Parks and Recreation staff that may include, but not limited to mobile applications and understanding use of Microsoft Office Suite, some SQL knowledge (recommended) and usage of report systems (i.e. Crystal Reports, Cognos Business Reporting and/or MS Power/BI.

Examples of Important Duties

Encompasses Tier 1 skill set plus:Maintains professional customer service and support of best practices.Conducts incident logging, categorization and prioritization of events triggered by internal and external customers and triggers from internally developed applications.Assist with monitoring information systems for quality assurance.Upload and validate HCM staff information data into the EAM system within all M-NCPPC divisions.Evaluate time (labor) reports by staff from the EAM system.Track tends such as terminations, certifications, total updates, and labor tracking.Assist with facilitation and training of staff and management on information systems.Testing processes within EAM system.Varied data entry work involving some complexity and variety.Varied work with Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.Provide troubleshooting and support to end usersMinimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, and1-year experience as Help Desk Support - Tier 1Supplemental Information

Limited Benefits for Seasonal Employees

Health Insurance PlansYou are eligible for specific health insurance benefits if you worked, on average, 30 hours per week during your first 12 months of employment or from October 3rd to October 2nd each subsequent period following your first 12 months of employment. This equates to 1,560 hours over a 12-month period.

If and when you are eligible for benefits, you will receive notification directly from the Health & Benefits Office.

Eligible Employees Pay 35% of the health insurance plan premium and The Commission Pays 65%.
