The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing on-site client installation, repairs, and maintenance of their equipment.
The ideal candidate is prompt and reliable, has superior support skills and excellent communication. He/she will have a proven track record of client satisfaction and is motivated to provide superior service.
Job Responsibilities:Complete installations and provide support at client locations (small local businesses) in Louisville, 60-100 miles radius suburbs.Hands-on and field-based work with over 90% of time spent on route. (Gas reimbursement is provided)Scheduling b2b appointments for software or hardware placement or updates, meeting existing customers and partners at their or potential locations.Diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft Windows / UNIX hardware and software problemsInstall and configure new PC hardware and software on desktops, ATM, amusements devices, laptops and peripherals such as phones, printers, external drives and other related hardwareDevelop, prepare, tests and deploy hard drive images and be capable of supporting users in a virtual desktop environment.Perform basic computer wired and wireless network troubleshootingDevelop, document and effectively communicate job processes, procedures and techniquesMaintain proficiency in PC technical fields of expertiseMaintain a high level of proficiency in using help-desk systems and toolsTrack and maintain equipment inventoriesTest new hardware and softwareDeliver device, instruct and visit clients -
