Job SummaryManagement,implementation and monitoring of PeopleSoft Enterprise systems and theinfrastructure necessary to support them.

Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesInstalls, maintains, andupgrades all PeopleSoft software, services and infrastructure.This includes database tier, middlewaretier, webserver tier and client tier software, services and infrastructureas well as any supporting infrastructure.Provides top-levelsupport for PeopleSoft problem resolution.Works closely with Business Analysts, Systems Engineers and PeopleSoftDevelopers to identify problems and to provide resolutions.Migrates third party andcustom code into production.Servesas quality control to ensure standards are being met when custom solutionsare being migrated.Installs, maintains, andupgrades all Oracle databases and clients used in support of PeopleSoftapplications.This includes copyingproduction or test databases to other test instances.Monitors the PeopleSoftinfrastructure and database for performance and pro-active maintenance.Develops plans forimplementation and determines the impact of any PeopleSoft or Oracle patches orchanges in process and procedures.Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor'sdegree in computer science, business information systems, or relatedinformation technology field, with course work in an information technologyspecialization related to the area of employment and a minimum of five yearsrelated and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in PeopleSoft/Oracleadministration, UNIX administration and project coordination.Directly related experience may besubstituted for the education requirement on a year-for-year basis.

Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge of UNIX operating systemsAdvanced knowledge of vi editorAdvanced Knowledge of Microsoft OfficeAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft ServerAdvanced programming language experience, preferably SQLAdvanced understanding of lifecycle managementKnowledge of UNIX systems administrationAdvanced knowledge of Peopletools applications, i.e.: Application Designer, Data Mover, Change Assistant, Application Engine, and SQR.Advanced knowledge of installation, configuration and maintenance of Peopletools service software, i.e.: Tuxedo Application Server, Process SchedulerServer, WebLogic Webserver, Elastic Search ServerAdvanced knowledge of Peopletools infrastructure in a UNIX environment.PeopleSoft DPK installation processOracle RMANOracle database administration
