Description This position will be responsible for the performance of formalized routine tasks and end user assistance related to computer hardware and software, mobile devices, printers, and other technologies. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receive and document technical problems reported by internal and external users using the PPI ticketing system Troubleshoot and coordinate resolution to reported technical problems Prepare and maintain technical documentation and procedures Perform preventative maintenance and hardware repairs Coordinate and setup equipment for employee use Utilize basic Windows and network software tools to investigate technical problems and automate tasks Develop training materials and procedures and train users in the proper use of hardware and software Perform software application installations and basic customization Provide support for mobile devices (iOS, Android) Requirements Requires supervision or direction to be able complete many job tasks. Requires additional training or support from supervisors or peers. Supports regulatory compliance activities applicable to PPI. Maintain a high degree of safety in all work undertaken. Accept and perform other related duties and responsibilities which may be assigned. Education/Training: Associate's Degree in a computer related field or equivalent required. Work Experience: Typically, 0-5 years' related experience in technology. Knowledge of basic hardware and software issues. Basic understanding of Windows registry, desktop utility, management, and scripting tools. Technical and process knowledge of desktop image development, testing, deployment, and updates. Working knowledge of best practices and industry standards regarding deployments, day-to-day operation, upgrades, and migrations. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience working with vendor support. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 2 years in an IT position supporting PCs in a network environment with end user support experience. 1 years of experience with PC and desktop applications (Windows 10, Microsoft 365, etc.) Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
