Stable and growing organizationCompetitive weekly payProfessional, positive and people-centered work environmentFast-paced work environmentComprehensive benefits package: Health, Dental, Vision, AD&D, 401(k), etc.Paid holidays (8); paid vacation and personal daysResponsibilities:As a Field Technician / IT Facility Coordinator you will coordinate and support a variety of technical projects related to the setup and maintenance of the IT infrastructure for Dayton Freight Lines Service Centers.Exercise discretion to order and track vendor services for Service Center locations, such as telecom circuit orders and cable/infrastructureTravel to service centers to analyze and install/move facility equipment including, but not limited to, network rack equipment, desktop/user equipment, etc.Utilizes independent judgment to provide technical support to end-users via Help Desk and in the field regarding diverse software and hardware systemsMaintains proper documentation for all projects/tasks assigned to include inputting applicable records such as network users, security, and tracking inventory levels of equipment and materialsUtilizes independent judgement to perform moderately advanced technological systems support, maintenance, and testing for proper upkeep of systemsTroubleshoots and resolves moderately complex system hardware, software, and network failures and conflictsMaintains currency of knowledge with respect to technology, equipment, applicable laws, regulations, standards and / or systemsPerforms in an ethical and professional manner, adhering to all company policies and proceduresAssists the Help Desk Supervisor with projects as assignedContinuously look for opportunities to improve processes
Qualifications:Preferred Qualifications:CompTIA Network+Microsoft Office 365 AssociateQualifications:Ability to analyze and interpret dataAbility to deploy and terminate network wiringAbility to provide functional direction to other technical supportStrong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work effectivelyAbility to self-manage and demonstrate initiativeAbility to problem-solve using tools provided as well as online resourcesUse logical and creative thought processes to develop solutions according to written specifications and/or oral instructions
