A Help Desk Intern is a student employee that assists the Help Desk Team and provides quality technology support under the direct supervision of the Help Desk Supervisor.Responsibilities:Assists the Help Desk Team to deliver technology supportAssist with the deployment of new equipmentAssist with software installsAssist in collecting information for the equipment inventoryGoals of the Internship:Learn some of the many facets of Information Services and TechnologyHands on learning experience in the technology arenaLearn how to work with different types of personalitiesQualifications:

Experience with IT fundamentals such as computer hardware troubleshooting and computer network knowledgeAbility to work in both a team environment and independentlyTime ManagementAnalytical skills, the ability to solve problems that may come up during a typical work dayStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills with end users, customers, and managementAbility to communicate IT terminology to someone that does not understand technical termsMust be pursuing a degree or certificates in a computer related fieldBenefits:
