Operate powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into trucks or storage facilities.Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facilityLoading and unloading goods from vehicles such as trucksMoving goods packed on pallets or in crates along with parent rolls with clamp trucks around the storage facilityStacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructionsChecking loads are secureStacking empty palletsPerforming daily equipment checks including safety inspections and lubricating fork trucksRemoving machine attachments and waste material from machinesExamining products to verify conformance to quality standardsDumping materials into machine hoppersOther duties as assignedQUALIFICATION REQUIRMENTS
High School diploma or equivalentGood math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be requiredHigh degree of attention required to prevent damage or injury to others; promote a safe work environmentFollow instructions for operating equipment and keeping recordsExecute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe mannerMaintain a clean & safe environmentMay be required to use RF scanner gunClean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator's license requiredForklift certification per OSHA standardsPhysical demands and abilitiesRegularly sitting on a powered industrial truckFrequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of timeHaving a good sense of balanceHaving good eye-hand-foot coordinationAbility to assess weights and judge distances and heightsAbility to work in varying temperatures, depending upon seasonEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

High School and professional experience
SAP experience preferred but not required

We own and operate three manufacturing mills, in Sanford and Hialeah, Florida, and Calhoun, Tennessee, as well as a converting facility in Hagerstown, Maryland.
