We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to support our customers and join our passionate team of high-impact problem solvers.

About the role:

As a mid-level Back-End Software Engineer, your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates the integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems.

What we are looking for:

4+ years of hands-on experience performing activities in at least two of the following programming languages: C, C++, Java, JavaScript, & PythonExperience in at least two of the following applications frameworks: React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, & HTML, Material UIFamiliarity & knowledge with: Apache Spark, Kubernetes, Kafka, SIMP Project, Ansible, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL, AWS Cloud & NifiExperience or knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development, agile methodologies, agile project management, software project management, defensive cyber operations, software development life cycle management, program/project management, cross-functional teamMust possess or have the ability to obtain SAFe for Teams certificationObtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with RaftYou may be required to travel periodically

Highly preferred:

Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experienceExperience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program officeAdvisory and Assistance Service (A&AS), or System Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) to Government program officeExperience with ACAT I/II level acquisition programs

Clearance Requirements:

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Salary Range :

$90,000 - $170,000The determination of compensation is predicated upon a candidate's comprehensive experience, demonstrated skill, and proven abilities
