What We Seek...

The Human Resources Coordinator will aid with and facilitate the human resource processes, working cooperatively with all members of the Britten HR team. The position will provide administrative support to employees, assist the HR team members with recruiting, employee engagement, payroll processing, benefits open enrollment, safety and training and development. This will be a great opportunity for someone to get exposure to many areas of HR, potentially grow into an HR Generalist role.

Job Summary and Job Functions

Assists with responding to all employees and/or external business HR related inquiries or requests.Assists with the recruitment process by attending recruitment events and initiatives, assesses incoming applications, schedules phone screens and interviews, following up with candidate and communications decisions on candidates' status, performs reference checks.Assists with the preparation, launch and tracking of the performance review process.Launching and tracking training.Ensuring Safety trainings, certifications are up to date.Schedules drug screens and physicalsConducts weekly New Hire Orientations and update records of new staff.Produces and submits reports on general HR activity.Assists with payroll, benefits open enrollment and ad-hoc HR projects.Keeps up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.Maintains employee personnel files (new hires, terminated employees)Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.Performs and supports other assigned functions as neededAlign with and believe in the company core values: We Say Yes, We Hustle, We Think Bigger, We Keep Promises, We Build People UpOther Duties

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in human resources or related (essential).At least one-two years related experienceEffective HR administration and people management skills.Exposure to payroll practices, a plusUnderstanding of HR functions and best practices.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.PHR or SHRM-CP credential preferred.Ability to work well under pressure, in a high pace work environment and meet tight deadlines.Responding to requests with a sense of urgency.Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office and related business and communication tools.Fantastic organizational and time management skills.Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.Meticulous attention to detailAlign with and believe in the company core values: We Say Yes, We Hustle, We Think Bigger, We Keep Promises, We Build People UpPhysical Demands and Work Environment
