Role Description:
Provide system administration expertise in a small environment of highly specialized users, Windows workstations, Windows servers, Linux servers, File shares, and hypervisorsProvide guidance and support for infrastructure and information security needs, to include ongoing accreditation activitiesInterface and support program management, system and software engineers, and other team membersImplement system administration best practices to ensure the proper degree of rigor is applied to assigned tasksResponsible for communicating with and effectively collaborating with internal technical professionals on a day-to-day basis and with POCs from customer organizationsRequired Skills and Qualifications:
TS/SCI with Polygraph required.Must have experience administering Windows Active Directory centric environment, including Windows Server administration and Windows Active Directory administrationMust possess an understanding of basic networking concepts and principlesMust have experience supporting a small group of end users with workstation questions/issuesMust be comfortable working on multiple projects and components simultaneouslyMust be capable of performing infrastructure engineering activities in support of software development teamsMust be committed to adopting, creating, and adhering to documented best practicesMust have strong verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to effectively plan and prioritize tasking and communicate clearly with various technical options and various technical trade-offsDesired Skills and Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience with system administrationWorking knowledge of LinuxCloud and/or Nutanix experience and infrastructure automationExperience writing good technical documentationAbout Navstar
