IXL Learning, a leading EdTech company with products used by 14 million students worldwide, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Recruiter to help us hire top talent. As a Senior Recruiter at IXL, you will source and work closely with individual candidates across teams. You will work side by side with the recruiting team, hiring managers, and peers within IXL to ensure that we hire the best individuals to work toward our mission.
Our ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be highly organized, detail-oriented with strong candidate sourcing, closing skills and the ability to mentor more junior team members.
This is a full-time position with a hybrid schedule in our San Mateo, CA office.
What You'll Be Doing
Partner with hiring managers and leaders across teams to develop a deep understanding of hiring needs and help to strategize best recruiting effortsManage full-cycle recruiting for critical reqs to include sourcing and screening candidates, conducting initial interviews, candidate management throughout the hiring process and presenting/negotiating offersBecome an expert on IXL Learning so that you can inform candidates about our products, positions, and company cultureFoster long-term relationships with high-caliber talent and build the best pipeline of candidates for our teamsMaintain a seamless and efficient candidate experience that results in a positive impression of IXL Learning, regardless of the outcomeDevelop closing strategies for candidates, ensuring that they have the information they need to make the best decisionMentor less experienced team membersWhat We're Looking For
BA/BS degree5+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience or a mix of technical/business recruitingFocused experience in sourcing quality candidates using a variety of strategies and platformsStrong eye for talent and an excellent ability to connect candidates with the right opportunitiesPrevious experience mentoring recruitersA true interest in understanding technology and a passion for educationA sense of ownership and accountabilityExcellent communication skills and ability to cultivate great relationships with stakeholdersInnovative, highly organized, detail oriented, able to work quickly and accurately, and able to change tasks and focus easilyExperience with Greenhouse or other ATSOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $130,000 + bonus + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
