Our work with the Dept of Veteran Affairs delivers clinical care to Veterans by managing the logistics and flow of supplies and equipment. Supply Chain Management (SCM) ensures that the right equipment and supplies are available when needed, and the Supply Chain Management Product Line (SCM PL) encompasses the activities to procure resources, manage supplies, and deliver goods and services to providers and patients.What is the position?

The Technical Product Manager shall be a leader, problem solver, collaborator, and excellent communicator. He or she shall be responsible for managing the overall performance, quality, schedule, and cost of the contract. He or she shall be responsible for leading and managing a team of business / technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to plan and deliver services, systems development, systems/network engineering, business process reengineering, and continuous service improvement (CSI). The Technical Product Manager shall be responsible for governance and oversight of the team to provide capability delivery lifecycle management, configuration, enhancement/development, data management, operations and maintenance, and Solution-as-a-Service. The Technical Product Manager shall be familiar with the frameworks and best practices relevant to the scope of work (e.g., ITSM/ITIL, Agile, etc.).What will I get to do?

Manage all personnel and ensures teams are always staffed with qualified resources to meet client project delivery expectationsCollaborate with client management personnel and business owners/stakeholders across the agencyManage development and delivery of all project reports and deliverablesCommunicate with team senior management on daily, weekly basisAssign and evaluate workProvide project recommendations based on data analyticsDevelop and execute management plansDevelop project schedules and plans, to include deliverables in task areasMobilize resources to execute the work represented in the plansMonitor progress against the plansIdentify and mitigate risksResolve support issues within its responsibilityProvide briefings and reports of activitiesWhat qualifications do I need?

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)10+ years relevant experienceExperience working with Agile project management.Willingness to obtain one of the following SAFe certifications within three (3) months:SAFe 6.0 Product Owner (PO)/Product Manager (PM),SAFe 6.0 Architect (ARCH), orSAFe 6.0 AgilistDemonstrated experience managing technical projectsBackground overseeing all functions, personnel, and contract deliverables of a major initiative for at least three yearsStrong customer relationship capabilitiesExcellent problem-solving skillsManagement skills to select, develop, mentor, and motivate team membersAbility to communicate clearly with all levels in an organization, with both verbal and written communication skillsExperience working with the Federal GovernmentAble to pass a background check to obtain a VA Public Trust (High-Risk) clearanceWhat additional characteristics will help me thrive?

$110,609.43 - $182,506.63
