GemPharmatech is currently operating in multiple locations in North American, EU and Asian Pacific regions including the United States, China and Korea.Job SummaryWe are currently seeking a candidate to join our Business Development team responsible for the San Francisco Bay Area territory.This will be a home-based work position. The qualified candidates will interact with clients to introduce our products and services. With support from our technical teams these individuals will also provide customized solutions to our clients. You will be part of an exciting international team.Key ResponsibilitiesExpand client relationships and identify new clients to establish business relationshipsPresent products and services to potential customers with an emphasis on preclinical research servicesProvide feedback on market needs, trends, competitive landscape and new business opportunities to the rest of the companyAdvocate for genetically engineered mouse models and their value to biomedical researchRepresent GemPharmatech’s core value reliably.Key Requirements and Qualifications·Degree or equivalent experience in the life sciences required. Knowledge and experience with preclinical mouse model experience desired. Drug discovery knowledge, biopharma CRO and relevant business experience required. At least 5 years’ experience selling to pharma and biotech preferred. Experience in in vivo pharmacology preferred.·Masterful selling skills that result in strong, trusting customer relationshipsHighly effective at overcoming obstacles with strong interpersonal communication skillsSkilled in conducting business and sales presentations with scientific rigorExcellent scientific writing and analytical skillsAbility to travel in the US and internationally with expected travel time of 25% or moreMultilingual is an assetPassionate about biomedical research, enjoy working in a start-up environment and is self-motivatedSensitive to social, economic and cultural differences.Compensation and Benefits· Commensurate with experience, $120K-150K base salary, with a competitive commission plan· Benefits: Health, Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K and PTOGemPharmatech LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
