Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.Responsibilities:Provide long-term strategy for core storage features, SSDs, Offloads, reliability, and performance, working closely with partner teams to realize the strategy as it goes beyond the virtualization stack.Help craft the roadmap for the Storage Optimized Virtual Machine (VM) family of products and provide technical assistance in execution and operations.Provide technical leadership to a growing team of Engineers.Coordinate and communicate among multiple partner teams, including SSD hardware, Product Design, VM virtualization/hypervisor, and others.Help define the SSD roadmap for Compute products, taking into account offloads, security, SSD hardware, CPU architecture, etc.Google is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
