Job Description

Job Duties: (Detailed list of Responsibilities)

Perform as a senior member of the development team.

Develop/enhance/review applications and code in accordance with EOHHS outlined

methodologies, industry best practices, and departmental policies and standards.

Analyze business and functional requirements in order to collaborate with the Applications

Architect and functional leads to propose and document technical solutions.

Create and execute functional integration test plans.

Provide communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help support the development

process and to ensure that the project deliverables are met according to specifications.

Be self-managed, responsive, and dedicated to exceptional customer support.

Provide timely updates on tasks and meet internal and client deadlines with high quality

deliverables.

Demonstrate experience working with project teams to architect, design, and deliver solutions to

meet business requirements.

Work on projects developing applications using full Java stack and expert level coding

experience across all tiers of the development.

REQUIRED SKILLS (Special Skill Set, Abilities, Knowledge):

Experience developing Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).

Experience developing messaging pub-sub integration for Healthcare IT using web services, XML,

CCD/CCDA, CDR, XDR.

Experience developing applications involving HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, JSON, JAVA,

J2EE, JSP, JDBC, Spring MVC, Hibernate, MYSQL, Oracle and Web Services.

Experience developing customizing software using Middleware technologies like Lynite's Rhapsody,

Mirth, WebSphere, MQ, Web Methods and JBoss.

Build full-stack applications using JavaScript (Node.js and MongoDB), front-end JavaScript (Jquery,

AngularJS), Java/J2EE, HTML, & CSS, including libraries and frameworks.

Design applications using Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana and other big data/ NOSQL technologies.

Extensive knowledge of Healthcare technologies and standards such as HL7, FHIR and Direct.

Knowledge of PKI, PHI and HIPAA is desirable.

Develop asynchronous programming patterns and develop service-oriented architecture.

Maintain and verifying code standards.

Test and deploy the code.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Years' Experience, Certificates):

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree.

Five years of Strong technical programming Experience.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in hands-on programming.

Government and or Healthcare prior experience desiredDesign applications using Elasticsearch, Logstash

and Kibana and other big data/ NOSQL technologies.

Extensive knowledge of Healthcare technologies and standards such as HL7, FHIR and Direct.

Knowledge of PKI, PHI and HIPAA is desirable
