Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain servers, including but not limited to database, mail, network, and application serversEnsure continuous delivery and operation of IT services through oversight of service level agreements with end users and monitoring of IT systems performancePrepare and maintain documentation of infrastructure processes, systems configuration, and network mappingLead infrastructure migration/upgrades projects, from the design through the implementation phaseManage virtual and physical servers running both Linux and WindowsInstall and configure network hardware and software, ensuring strong functionality and securityPlan and implement network security, including building firewalls, managing host security, file permissions, backup and disaster recovery plans, file system integrityTroubleshoot network issues with diverse scopes where analysis of situations requires evaluation and judgmentParticipate in negotiation with vendors to secure software products and servicesPlan and assist with the deployment of Microsoft Intune policies and settingsAssist in mergers and acquisitions which may include technical migrations, administrative migrations, and technical integrationsProvide technical support and guidance to users and other team membersStay current with technological developments in systems administration technology and recommend ways for the company to take advantage of new technologyOther responsibilities and projects as assignedMinimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required3-5 years of network administration, or system administration experienceExperience with cloud infrastructure - AWS, AzurePreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsCybersecurity knowledgeDependable and flexible when necessaryNetwork security experienceLAN and WAN infrastructure experienceAbility to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resourcesAbility to provide specific detailed information for hardware and software selection
