Ultrasound Technologist - ARDMS (OB)
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer) to join our dynamic imaging department in the Boston area. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide accurate and timely diagnoses through advanced ultrasound imaging technology. Responsibilities:
Perform ultrasound examinations to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain optimal images.
Analyze images to identify abnormalities and relay findings to physicians for interpretation.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of general ultrasound experience, with OB experience preferred.
