About Us:The Art of Care Academy is a new Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) and Home Health Aide(HHA) school in Citrus Heights and we are currently seeking experienced nurses to teachour expanding number of classes. The Art of Care Academy is dedicated to providingsuperior education and training for aspiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). We prideourselves on offering comprehensive courses that empower individuals to excel in thehealthcare field.

Must have at least 2 years of experience in nursing, possess a current nursing licenses,and prior training. Prior Experience as a DSD would be most valuable. There will beopportunities for Day Shift Classes. Role Overview:As a Nursing Instructor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future generation ofhealthcare professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to lead and facilitate coursesfor our CNA students, imparting your wealth of knowledge and real-world experience.

Key Responsibilities:* Teach the course curriculum as outlined

* Apply knowledge of the fundamentals of the nursing process, the standards of care, and sounddecision making and judgement in educational activities involving all levels of patient care within thenurse aide training program.

* Provide a stimulating environment that encourages student participation, interpersonal skillsdevelopment, and concepts of good patient care

*Set student expectations and communicate clearly with students

*Make learning engaging for students, including facilitating class discussions and skills instruction.

*Build knowledge through engaging and interactive learning, and develop clinical skills aimed atsupporting students to obtain nursing assistant certification

*Ensure students are keeping up with curriculum and mastering assignments

*Evaluate and document students' progress through testing, observation, and assessment of skillsattained

*Maintain accurate records on all students, including but not limited to attendance records,schedules, course requirements regarding hours of instruction and content and exam pass rates

*Build rapport and communicate effectively with students, those affiliated with the course, includingstaff at identified training facilities, and prospective employers

Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience as an LVN/RN.

- Must Have Current DSD Certificate- At least 1 year of experience working in a long-term/skilled nursing facility, providingdirect patient care.- 1 year of experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs innursing.- Active LVN/RN license in the state of California.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Passion for teaching and mentoring future healthcare professionals.- Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
