The Budd Group is currently looking to add a
Business Development Representative
to the team to help drive high-frequency, quick sales cycle sales. The Sales Representative will focus on customer acquisition and additional sales to existing customers in a defined region. They will also source new customers for transaction business sales. This role will support janitorial, specialty services, resale services and maintenance services to commercial businesses in the defined region.
Location:
Nashville, TN territory
Main Responsibilities:
Specialty services sales - Identifies, closes, and moves service work to the appropriate manager.Research potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital marketing resourcesCold calling; making multiple outbound calls to leads and prospects.Secure in-person sales appointmentsPresent and/or deliver digital information to potential clients as needed.Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, trade shows, etc through digital campaigns.Participates in trade shows, networking events and community events as needed.Main Qualifications/Skills:
2+ years experience in full life cycle sales, prospecting, cold calling, creating and presenting proposals and closing dealsProfessional communication skills verbally and in writingExcellent organization skills capable of canvassing several markets at once with goal to expand company with new sales, clients, and territoriesAbility to work independently or as an active member of a teamStrong computer skills, digital marketing skills, and CRM skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce, Outreach, and Pardot.Must have a valid Driver's License - This position requires up to 50% in market travel.Why Work For The Budd Group?!?
