We work with local schools to identify children and families in need and provide them with care packages with nutritious snacks to eat while home for the weekends.Caring Coalition AZ started in November of 2013 with neighbors pitching in to help a local family with food for their Thanksgiving meal. Since then we have become a non-profit, recognized by the IRS and a Qualifying Charitable Organization for the Arizona Tax Credit.Caring Coalition. We are presently serving 90 Preschool-12th grade students each week. As of 2019 more that 10,000 weekend care packages have been provided! We meet weekly at a designated place of business to create the care packages.
