Expertise and Functions:Develop, prepare, and coordinate reports, information papers, and organizational briefings for the governmentAssist in coordinating, consolidating, analyzing, distributing, and monitoring action items, and tracking suspenses and responsesPrepare agendas, schedule meetings, maintain calendars, and conference room schedulesAssist with development and implementation of program schedules and project plansUse government travel systems to ensure travel is efficiently scheduledPlan and execute organizational activities for both internal and external agenciesDetermine customer requirements and translate these requirements into organizational plansAnalyze business and technical processes to develop and implement new and modified processes and policiesDevelop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunitiesOther duties as assignedRequirements

Education/Training (both required and desired):Associate's Degree in managerial field desiredBachelor's degree in business administration or related field preferredExperience:2+ years of experience supporting management personnelExperience supporting management personnel within the DoD preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office products (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project), Adobe and/or other common business applicationsExcellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, both oral and writtenDemonstrated ability to quickly adapt to emerging requirementsExcellent customer service skills (trusted and reliable, prompt and attentive)Strong initiative and an ability to organize daily tasks and manage multiple responsibilitiesAbility to prioritize workloads effectivelyPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsPrior military experience as an Executive Officer supporting a senior military officer in command position (Lt Col/O-5 or higher) or a senior civil service director or division chiefExperience and proficiency with Jira and ConfluenceExperience with government contract requirements including contract deliverablesFamiliarity and experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting & Execution processExperience with complex organizations and working with other business teamsPrior experience with DoD Acquisitions Programs and/or weapons systemsPrior experience with ICBM programsSecurity:Must be a US citizenActive DoD issued clearance at level Secret requiredActive DoD issued clearance at level Top Secret preferred
