We're actively seeking a talented Senior Front-End Developer to join our Workforce Benefits Division in one of our locations: Newport Beach, CA; Aliso Viejo, CA; Omaha, NE; or Lynchburg, VA. This role is available for on-site or hybrid work arrangements.
Position Overview
As a Senior Front-End Developer, you will be a key contributor to Pacific Life's Workforce Benefits Division, driving innovation through the development of cutting-edge user interfaces. You will join a dynamic team of professionals and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our customer-centric solutions.
How You Will Make An Impact
Lead the design and implementation of responsive and intuitive web interfaces for our Workforce Benefits Division.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and backend developers, to create seamless user experiences.Utilize your extensive experience (6+ years) to provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimizing applications for speed and scalability.Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in front-end development.Able to call microservices.The Experience You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.6+ years of professional experience in front-end development.Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related web technologies.Extensive experience with React.js and its core principles.Solid understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.What Will Make You Stand Out
Advanced degree in Computer Science or related field.Proficiency in other front-end frameworks like Vue.js is a plus.Experience in the financial or insurance industry.In-depth knowledge of UI/UX design principles.Strong problem-solving abilities and proactive attitude.Base Pay Range
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$118,800.00 - $145,200.00
