We’re actively seeking a talented Senior Investment Accountant II to join our team in Newport Beach. This role can be on-site, remote or hybrid.
As a Senior Investment Accountant II, you’ll move Pacific Life, and your career, forward by providing timely and accurate investment reporting on a quarterly and annual basis, as well as ad-hoc reporting to Pacific Life Investment’s main constituents. You will fill a new role that sits on a team of four people with a specialization in derivative investment accounting.
How You Will Make An Impact
Assist Director in managing close process including: Ensuring manual journal entries are complete and reviewed.Account reconciliations are complete and accurate.Investment Income is appropriate.Regulatory Reporting is timely and compliant with GAAP and Statutory regulations.Lead change in processes / deliverables as we move to new accounting system (May 2024).
The Experience You Will Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.6+ years of relevant finance/accounting experience.Experience in investment accounting/reporting role a plus.Proven organizational skills with the ability to work under tight deadlines.Ability to coordinate complex deliverables across multiple systems with minimal direction.
What Will Make You Stand Out
CPA or MBA.Intermediate EXCEL, Business Objects, PAM Accounting System, Calypso Asset Management.Insurance or Financial Services Experience.

Base Pay Range
The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.
$118,800.00 - $145,200.00
