Job title : Executive Account Manager

Reports to : Executive team

Summary/objective : Specialty Tooling Systems (STS) is searching for a senior Executive Manager to develop new automation business as well as service and maintain existing accounts. The Executive Manager will be highly motivated to develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that maximize STS's opportunity to win business. STS is looking for an enthusiastic individual with a strong work ethic, relevant work experience, and a commitment to teamwork.

Essential functions :Develop and implement strategic sales plans by performing face-to-face sales calls with manufacturing customers and prospects.Identify development potential in accounts by studying current business.Develop relationships with key customer personnel and identify and evaluate additional needs and opportunities.Initiate sales process by building relationships, qualifying potential, and scheduling appointments.Develop sales by making initial presentations, explaining product and service enhancements and additions, and introducing new products and services.Work with customer engineering departments to understand their needs and provide engineered solutions to their needs.Close sales by overcoming and finding solutions to customer objections.Contribute information to sales strategies by evaluating current product results; identifying needs to be filled; monitoring competitive products; and analyzing and relaying customer reactions.Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Cold calling potential customers.Travel to hold face-to-face meetings with customers throughout the Midwest (primarily Greater Detroit Area).

Required competency, education, and experience :

Highly motivated person who enjoys working in a team environment in fast-paced industry.History working in Automotive, Appliance, Medical and or other manufacturing industries.Understanding of Automotive automation industry with program management experience in the automation business.Adept at communicating with assorted audiences in a wide variety of different departments (purchasing, engineering, etc.)Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skillsGoal-oriented and the drive to succeed3 to 5 years of experience in Tool and Die or Manufacturing Automation businessEngineering aptitudeBachelor's degree preferredExcellent driving recordAbility to maintain a professional appearance at all timesAbility to travel regularly

Work environment : Office setting in a manufacturing environment.

Physical demands :

Ability to drive a vehicleAbility to speak clearly and communicate with customers

Travel : Travel to hold face-to-face meetings with customers throughout the Midwest.
