Principal Responsibilities:

Job Summary:

JCC Rockland is seeking a full time in-person Assistant to join two growing departments. This administrative position supports the daily operations of both development and sports and recreation departments through administrative, logistical, and strategic work.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations:

Provide administrative support for all customer engagement and outreachResponsible for day to day gift processing and entry, segmenting of donors, donor recognition, reporting and analysis, list management, and eventsAssist with coordinating special events and donor/sponsorship cultivation effortsWork closely with the finance team to manage, reconcile, and track various types of donations and/or program enrollmentRun weekly reports on department programs and initiativesPerform general office duties, attend meetings; assist with appointments and calendarsOccasional weekend and evening work for scheduled events and meetings will be requiredAll other duties as assigned by the Department DirectorsMinimum Qualifications:

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum of 1 year working within a nonprofit fundraising environment or transferrable/relatable experience.Must be highly organized and detail-oriented; able to multitaskAbility to prioritize, meet deadlines and work with multiple departmentsMaintain poise and patience when dealing with the public, as well as with major and high-profile donors always maintaining diplomacy and grace under pressureSolid analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilitiesExceptional written and verbal communication skillsSalary:

$35,000 - $45,000
