Administrative Asst. - Export DepartmentWe are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our team managers and members, assisting with daily office needs, and managing our team's general administrative activities. Must have at least 3 years of experience in business administration.
ResponsibilitiesWrite and distribute emailsAssist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reportsDevelop and maintain a filing systemUpdate and maintain office policies and proceduresOrder office suppliesMaintain contact listsData Entry/Order EntryRegulatory DocumentsRequirements and skills
Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or Office Admin AssistantKnowledge of office management systems and proceduresWorking knowledge of office equipment, including printer, copier, calculator, and fax machinesProficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, in particular)Working knowledge and skill in creating spreadsheets in ExcelExcellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize workAttention to detail and problem solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-taskMust have working knowledge in handling courier shipments (including document preparation)Self-StarterFast learnerHigh School degree; additional qualifications as an Administrative AssistantExport Documentation experience a plusSecond language a plusKnowledge of SAP a plus
