$55,000-$60,000 (Annually)(Starting salary depends on education and experience)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position demands a focused and committed person who wants to make a difference in the lives of young people as a safe, caring leader. The Program Manager is responsible for and has oversight of the coordination, programming, delivery, development, and business aspects of Youth Care Service work that supports daytime clients and overnight shelter clients. The Program Manager will build and maintain positive and productive relationships with youth, team members, peers, and partners. Provide coaching/training opportunities to Managers and Youth Care specialists to promote active engagement, and models of intervention; enhancing children's development of social/emotional skills and trauma resolution. Regular supervision of and consultation with Managers regarding daily job duties and work performance. Ensure all Youth Care specialists and Managers are aware of and compliant with all policies, rules, and regulations. Constructs a functional environment for on-call workers who are supporting operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Related Field. Degree can be subsituted with 10 years of relevant experience. Years of Supervisory Experience: Minimum of 3 years. Years of Experience: 5 to 7 years. Must be at least 21 years of age and pass a background check, and physical and drug screening. This position also requires a valid driver's license and proof of current vehicle insurance.
