We self perform all things concrete in house and are looking to add another senior estimator to the team with proven experience procuring projects in the private and public sector. We believe in working together, combining our knowledge across the company to create a cohesive plan that then will be implemented successfully for our clients. If you are a Concrete Estimator with experience, please read on!What You Will Be Doing- Attend pre-bid meetings- Prepare Comprehensive bids for construction projects over $20 mil - Preconstruction Assignments (project scope, budgeting, cost, present estimates to clients/team) - Maintaining subcontractor records - Conduct site visits to determine project parameters - Identify right subcontractors for projects based on region, project type/scope, and monitor bid status - Organize and review drawings and details, takeoff's, RFI's - Calculate labor estimates and determine applicable in-house trade labor rates -Hold in-house pre-bid meetings prior to large public bids and delegate bid day duties -Prepare clear, concise and accurate bid proposals for various private projects - Assist with initial project set-up with project manager; interact with project management through life of projects pertaining to specific task calculation and unforeseen project developmentsWhat You Need for this Position- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience - 10+ Years heavy civil estimating experience - 5+ years with different heavy civil trades including but not limited to earthwork, underground utility, pavements, and site concrete - Proven experience landing work in both the private and public market - Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, and OutlookWhat's In It for You- Competitive Salary DOE - Vacation/PTO - Medical - Dental - Bonus Potential - 401k - Additional PerksSo, if you are a Sr. Civil Estimator, please apply today!For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
