Summary
This position is responsible for transporting raw materials to and from the plant and finished product from the plant to the job site. Dedicated runs currently available in the Sioux Falls area.
Essential FunctionsTransport product from manufacturing plant to job site.Haul in raw materials to the manufacturing plant.Spend nights in the truck as needed, this may include multiple nights a week.Install load securement as needed.Perform pre-trip inspections, report maintenance items to dispatchers.Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.Document and log work/rest periods, time spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts.Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions.Collect and verify unload instructions.Report defects, accidents or violations.Review BOL and follow instructions on BOL.Execute other duties as assigned.
Education Requirements
Required : High School Diploma or the equivalent.
Certification/Licensure Requirements
Required:
Valid truck driving license.
Experience Requirements
Required:
Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. No recent moving or driving violations.
