Lead .NET Software Engineer

Join Navistar now and be a part of the journey towards a brighter, more connected tomorrow.Responsibilities:Design and implement web solutions that are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.Work with the existing teams to provide leadership, development expertise, and support to existing activities.Lead development responsibilities for ongoing activities based on team capacity and need.Help existing teams address technical debt.Contribute to the development and implementation of build pipelines in Azure DevOps.Contribute to the planning of the remaining work for the year.Designing, coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of applications to be used in commercial or end-user business areas related to sales, order management, service, and catalog applications.Using state of the art technologies, develops and maintains responsive applications.Accountable for partnering with key roles (enterprise architects, infrastructure, etc.) to create solutions that are aligned to architecture standards and principles, leverage common solutions and services.Minimum Requirements:

Bachelors degreeAt least 5 years of software engineer experienceORMasters degreeAt least 3 years of software engineer experienceORAt least 7 years of software engineer experienceAdditional Requirements:

Qualified candidates, excluding current Navistar employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Ability to translate functional designs into technical designs, and conversely to translate complex information into common terms.Strong technical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and a creative and agile mindset.Knowledge and understanding of web applications using the Microsoft tech stack: ASP MVC, C#, Azure, IIS.Deep understanding of the C# language and MVC methodology.Fundamental understanding of SQL programming, and proper database architecture.Familiarity with Microsoft development and build tools such as Visual Studio, Code and Azure DevOps.Knowledgeable with cloud solutionspreferably Azurefor web-based solutions.Experience with streaming / real-time data solutions.Exposure to web front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Knowledge of web development and deployment technologies, like NPM and WebPack.Demonstrated experience with at least one major front-end framework.Skilled at leading other engineers and developers to deliver a high-quality product.Ability to design and implement web solutions that are scalable, secure, performant, and cost-effective.Experience working with agile development teams and methods.
