Job description -
The Director on Engineering will lead the departmentin all maintenance and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will haveknowledge and experience maintaining aspects of a hotel such as; electrical,plumbing, wall repair, pools, and HVAC units.
Job responsibilities -Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazardsInspect hotel regularly to ensure safety standards are metWorks directly with HOAArrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and facilitiesComplete work orders on time and within budgetMaintain budgets, expenses, and activity logsManage relationships with contractors and service providersResponds and coordinates responses to guest calls and emergency situationsPerform various maintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall/ wallpaper, painting, building exteriors, and appliancesLead maintenance department in order to manage competing priorities and deadlinesInterviews, trains, supervises,counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.
Requirements -• Available to worka flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Previousmanagerial experience in a similar position
Knowledgeof plumbing, electrical, sewer, wall repair, appliances, and HVAC systems
Highschool diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA inFacility Management is preferred
CertifiedProfessional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) is a plus
ValidSC Driver's License
