The Role
Adashi Systems is seeking a project manager with experience managing customer-facing deployment projects in public safety, as well as internal scrum and Agile software development. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating in a startup-type environment, showing ownership and drive to achieve customer and company software delivery and development objectives. Additionally, the candidate will be a driver for ongoing and continuous process improvement throughout all levels of the organization to help mature and grow.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate must be effective at prioritizing workload, balancing demands from projects, roadmap and ongoing prioritization of goals and objectives, as well as skilled at technical problem solving and leading teams. The candidate will be capable of leading internal teams to refine critical processes used to develop and deploy software, as well as skilled at driving customer projects to completion. The candidate will be experienced working with/within technical software teams, creating workshops, presentations, documentation, training, communicating, and assisting customer and internal teams with communications and processes. Additionally, the candidate will help drive business process improvements, project management compliance, including metrics, lessons learned, project reviews, and adherence to processes and methodologies. Finally, a solid understanding of CAD (Computer Automated Dispatch) and RMS (Record Management System) is a major plus for understanding how our applications work within the public safety ecosystem.
The Role Requirements
5+ years of project or management experience, preferably in public safety softwareKnowledgeable and experienced in project deployment, technical support and customer serviceHighly effective communicator and organization/documentation skillsSkilled at understanding and documenting customer software requirements and workflowBachelors Degree preferredExperienced with Project Management tools and processesExperience managing Agile software development teams, offshore a plusExperience or background working in Public Safety (preferably Fire agencies) with 911 Emergency Communications, Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management Systems, or Mobile Computing strongly encouraged
