The ideal candidate is a dynamic, creative, and strategic thinker that will lead marketing and promotional campaigns in the San Francisco office of a leading, national agency. Crafting innovative events and executing flawless campaigns for clients in the entertainment industry is a daily standard, along with social media and relationship marketing. Conceptualize and execute 360 marketing campaignsNegotiate trade with television, radio, print, and online partners for coverageDevelop and maintain relationships with media, promotional contacts, market influencers, community leaders, and grassroots organizationsPlanning and staffing events from start to finish, including creative and logistical execution at high-traffic festivals and eventsPreparing research, recaps, and reports for clients under multiple deadlinesCopywriting for pitches, talking points, and social mediaManage and provide leadership to support team members and provide guidance to interns who support account executionGeneral Responsibilities Include:
Develop strong client relationships and always meet client deadlines and exceed expectationsManage invoicing and charges in the online billing systemKnow the San Francisco marketplace and provide great insight and advice to clientsJob Qualification/Requirements:
3-5 years of related field/agency experience, preferably in the entertainment industryBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or public relations preferredSelf-starter who excels in a fast-paced and demanding environmentStrong attention to detail and multi-tasking skillsStellar written and verbal communications skills to effectively influence the press, promo partners, general public audience, and all levels of internal staffWeekend and evening availability to work eventsInterest in the latest platforms, apps, influencers, and trends in social mediaKnowledge of the San Francisco marketplace including media outlets, events, and organizationsDetails:
The annual salary for this full-time position is $67,000.At present, all staff work a hybrid schedule of at least 2 days per week in person at our office in San Francisco, CA. The remaining days are worked remotely on company provided hardware. This is subject to change.This position will be eligible to participate in the standard benefits offered to full-time employees of Allied Global Marketing (medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability and life insurance as well as 401k and PTO). We also offer 10 company paid holidays.PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS BASED IN OUR SAN FRANCISCO, CA OFFICE AND REQUIRES SOME NIGHTS, WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAY WORK BASED ON FILM RELEASES, EVENTS AND THE NEEDS OF CLIENTS.Allied Global Marketing is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
