OverviewThe Navy Modernization, Planning and Sustainability Division, Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) 09, is responsible for providing the Fleet and modernization stakeholders with modernization policies; Ship Change Document (SCD) processes and approvals; Navy Data Environment (NDE) and user-training; Fleet Risk Assessments; Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Intelligence (C5I) Baselines; Information Technology (IT) business tools; metrics performance; and customized reports. We believe in collaboration, mutual respect, open communication, and opportunity for growth.ResponsibilitiesAssist with policy effectiveness analysis for program improvement.Research and compile data in support of program execution.Gather and process complex data to support decision-making and offer insight.Coordinate and support meetings for NAVSEA 09 to include drafting agendas, planning invite lists, recording meeting minutes, and tracking action items.Develop high-level briefings and make associated changes based on customer input.QualificationsHigh School diplomaActive Secret clearance1 or more years of project analyst experienceFamiliarity with MS suite; particularly MS PowerPointSuperior organizational skillsFamiliarity with U.S. surface Navy organizationEffectively document meeting minutes and action items.
