POSITION: FLEET DISPATCHER

COMANCO has an excellent career opportunity for a

Fleet Dispatcher!

The Fleet Dispatcher utilizes technology software and effective communication to perform various Fleet Department procedures efficiently. The Fleet Dispatcher coordinates equipment moves within Dispatcher daily, analyzes equipment moves and utilization weekly, as well as other administrative functions of the Fleet Department.

Job Focus:

Track all vehicles and equipment and verify the location through GPS, timecards, and tracking software.

Setup all location Geofences for projects and equipment locations.

Ensure all GPS units on equipment are 'pinged' weekly to verify equipment is in the correct location.

Review equipment telematic alerts and schedule repairs as they are received. If the report provides inaccurate information, report to fleet staff so it can be addressed.

Verify all equipment is returned after project completion and document any missing assets.

Monitor, review, and respond to the HCSS Equipment Service Requests and Equipment Inspection Reports.

Responsible for sourcing rental equipment for Operations.

Schedule transport for heavy equipment.

Order fuel for the shop and jobsites.

Identify and order repairs and/or replacement parts for vehicles and equipment, as requested.

Create Purchase Orders and maintain general knowledge of equipment to allow for missing or unnecessary items related to the PO.

Review fleet invoices for accuracy and resolve discrepancies quickly and effectively.

Request quotes for equipment repairs as needed.

Resolve any issues with equipment vendors.

Address all reports of damage to equipment with the Safety department.

Inactivate and hide closed jobs in Dispatcher.

Discontinue and merge off-rent/retired equipment in all systems.

Cross-train to handle the other fleet administrative job tasks when requested.

Create and review existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the Fleet Department.

Attend scheduled meetings as assigned.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED plus technical education; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Skilled knowledge of computerized accounting systems and administrative software. Working Knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software, Word Processing software, Outlook.
