Key responsibilitiesResponsible for all commercial sales activities with assigned key National Accounts, Buying Groups, Independent Warehouse Distributors, and other key accounts as assigned.Owns the customer strategy and is accountable for the growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction with the assigned key customers, including proactively:Identifying, targeting, and implementing strategies to secure new customers and place new products into existing customers in line with aftermarket strategy.Developing and implementing strategies to maintain existing business, improve account profitability, and develop sustainable customer relationships in line with aftermarket strategy.

Accountable to meet annual regional sales, margin, and expense objectives.Develops sales forecasts for use in the Long-Range Plan (LRP) and monitors industry and market trends throughout the year for use in monthly forecast adjustments.Actively participates in, supports, and optimizes company and customer trade shows and events.Monitors industry and market dynamics, including customer and competitor developments; communicates relevant information cross functionally and with appropriate leadership.Works cross functionally with Finance, Category Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales Admin to ensure both customer and company objectives are met.Manages and provides leadership to internal field support employees and external sales agencies to achieve company objectives.Provides global coordination on customer issues where required.Represents the business unit in a professional, positive manner in line with PHINIA values.What we're looking for

7+ years of automotive sales and management experience.Excellent selling, writing, verbal presentation, planning, follow up, and time management skills.Understand business principles including sales, margin, profit, return on investment, inventory turns.Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of leadership in both customer and internal company environments.Excels when working within a sales process and has knowledge of key sales metrics.Knowledge of the industry and market trends and the implications of those trends for PHINIA, our customers, and competition.Ability to work and succeed in a team atmosphere.Exhibits high credibility and trustworthiness to key customers and to the company-maintains healthy balance between the key customers and company.Willing to travel up to 75% of the time.Key competencies

At least 5 years in the automotive aftermarketDemonstrated experience working within Salesforce.com or another CRM platform.Strong and positive NA automotive aftermarket industry relationships.What we believe
