OUR NEW MAZDA REATAIL EVOLUTION FACILITY IS OPENING SOON AND WE NEED YOU!Job Summary:We are seeking THREE highly motivated and experienced Sales Managers to join our team at Whaling City Auto Group in New London, Connecticut. The Sales Managers will be responsible for driving sales and profitability by managing and leading a team of sales representatives. This is a full-time, individual contributor role within the auto industry, offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales goals- Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate features and benefits to customers- Hire, train, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing coaching and support to improve performance- Monitor and analyze the sales process to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes- Build strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business- Work closely with the finance department to finalize deals and ensure accurate completion of paperwork- Conduct sales meetings and trainings to provide updates, address concerns, and motivate the team- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
Requirements:- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience within the auto industry, with at least 3 year in a management role- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team- Proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving profitability- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong organizational and time-management abilities- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM software- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
