Business Systems Analyst

General Description:This role will analyze existing systems for improvement, recommend new system processes, and keep detailed documentation of all structural and process changes. This role will also act in a systems administrator capacity for existing applications and new implementations. The Business Systems Administrator will be responsible for using their knowledge of software programs and business strategies to help HRL maximize application productivity, reliability, and scalability.

Essential Duties:

Support critical business applications and databases on a day-to-day basis

Work with Information Systems leadership on application maintenance plans and best practices for change management

Analyze existing procedures and make recommendations for improvements

Maintain technical documentation

Facilitate, enhance, and ensure seamless operation of business applications

Assist in resolving back-end connectivity issues

Work in a collaborative and team environment

Meet deadlines in a timely manner and work as part of a team on long-term projects

Manage dynamic business requirements

Stay up to date on modern trends as they pertain to software development, database maintenance, application design, and system administration

Communicate effectively with team members and customers with varying levels of technical knowledge

Required Skills:

Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint system administration (installing, configuring, patching, tuning, and upgrading)

Experience supporting MRP, MES, ALM/PLM, QMS and their association with the Costpoint Materials domain

Experience with PTC Windchill system administration

Experience working with engineering teams to resolve Windchill system issues

Experience with PTC Windchill configuration, workflow, and library management

Experience with PTC ThingWorx Navigate administration

Experience with Code Beamer administration

Experience with Altium Enterprise system administration

Experience with the Deltek Costpoint Projects, Materials, and Admin domains

Familiarity with Deltek Shop Floor Time

Experience with Apache Tomcat administration

General familiarity with material requirements planning, manufacturing execution, product lifecycle management, inventory management, and quality management systems (including their data intersections)

General familiarity with DevOps, including code and environment promotion

Understanding of cybersecurity principles and experience including cybersecurity requirements in business systems administration

Required Education:High School diploma/GED with 8+ years of related experience OR

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field with 5+ years of related experience

Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Special Requirements:Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, and in some cases with little to no advance notice. This position requires that the applicant selected be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Compensation:The base salary range for this full-time position is $132,765 - $165,983 + bonus + benefits.
