We welcome talented, passionate, and highly motivated individuals to join our team.SummaryReplenish assembly line bins with material, move finished goods from WIP to warehouse, maintain Kanban cards, post work orders, confirm counts of parts, ensure quality of every part, ensure continuity of supply to the VS assigned.Essential FunctionsDevelop standardized daily routes between assembly lines and internal suppliers (supermarkets and warehouses).Physically and electronically pulling, transacting & moving material(s) from the warehouse(s) & supermarket(s) to the WIP in support of production requirements.Replenish assembly line bins based on Kanban level signals.Move finished goods from assembly line to warehouse.Manage Kanban cards and bin information (sizing).Notify Scheduler or Buyer/planner when a use up part has been used up.Notify Scheduler of stock outs from internal suppliers.Notify Buyer/planner of stock outs from external suppliers.Assist with expediting material.Manage MRB parts to ensure material is moved from WIP to MRB in AX and physically.Work with quality to ensure timely disposition of MRB material in assigned VS.Ensure quality of every part delivered to assembly line.Verify count of every part delivered to assembly line.Maintain visual controls to keep production flowing.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesOperate a forklift.Post work orders.Troubleshoot issues with posting work orders.Other responsibilities as needed and assigned.Knowledge of Kanban, MRP and Inventory Control methods preferred.Knowledge of PFEP, Back flushing, Supermarkets and Work Order processes preferred.Ability to develop metrics and reports.Good time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.Computer skills: Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Word preferred.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX preferred.Excellent communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels in the organizationEducation and ExperienceHigh School or GED level education is preferredThree years of material handling and or inventory control experience preferred.LEAN training preferred.Notice To Third Party AgenciesPlease note that LANCER does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruiters or employment agencies.
