Position Highlights

Title: Account Manager, Southeast

Full Time Direct Hire

Background Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management, Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience selling elastomers

5-7 years technical marketing, engineering, or sales experience in the plastics industry.

Outside sales experience and/or Product development experience is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to develop new business and achieve profitable sales in highly competitive markets.

Job Responsibilities

Develops sales strategies and action plans for identified targets of opportunity.

Secures orders from existing and potential Customers by means of visiting the Customer facility or contacting by phone.

Obtains Customer specifications and secures opportunities to quote on Customer requirements.

Follows up (by phone or visit) on quotations submitted to Customers.

Establishes professional Customer/Vendor relationships with appropriate Customer personnel (Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, Management, other key personnel).
